About the Journal

Jurnal Ledalero: Discourse on Faith and Culture was first published in print in June 2002 under ISSN 1412-5420 under the initial name of Jurnal Ledalero: Wacana Iman dan Kebudayaan. Its electronic edition was launched in June 2015 with ISSN 2503-4316. The journal is published biannually, in June and December, by the Ledalero Institute of Philosophy and Creative Technology (IFTK Ledalero), Maumere, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

The journal presents critical analyses and scholarly research in the fields of philosophy, theology, and the social sciences, including sociology, politics, psychology, linguistics, anthropology, art, and cultural studies.

In accordance with the motto of IFTK Ledalero, Diligite Lumen Sapientiae (“Love the Light of Wisdom”), Jurnal Ledalero is committed to publishing high-quality academic articles that enable readers to engage with truth and insight. The journal seeks to enlighten, sharpen intellectual inquiry, and broaden perspectives through rigorous and reflective scholarship.

Jurnal Ledalero welcomes submissions from researchers, academics, professionals, practitioners, and students. Submitted articles should be based on original research or critical analysis in philosophy, theology, and the social sciences, including cultural studies, sociology, politics, psychology, linguistics, anthropology, and art.

Published online twice a year, with issues released in June and December, each issue of Jurnal Ledalero features a minimum of five and a maximum of ten peer-reviewed articles.
