Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts are initially reviewed by the Editorial Board. Jurnal Ledalero applies a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed.
Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s scope, academic standards, or submission guidelines may be rejected at the editorial screening stage without external review. Manuscripts deemed suitable are forwarded to reviewers with relevant academic expertise. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editors decide whether to reject the manuscript, request revisions, or accept it for publication.
Reviewers receive anonymized manuscripts from the Section Editor or editorial secretariat. If a manuscript does not match a reviewer’s area of expertise, the reviewer may decline the assignment and recommend a more suitable reviewer.
Each manuscript is reviewed by at least one reviewer, and each reviewer evaluates manuscripts based on scholarly quality and substance rather than linguistic style. Review criteria include originality, novelty, relevance, methodological rigor, clarity of argument, and the validity of citations and references.
