Krisis Eksistensial dan Relasi Gender dalam Kasus KDRT dan Perceraian: Analisis dari Perspektif Filsafat Aqidah

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between existential crisis and gender-inequitable relations within the context of domestic violence and divorce, using the framework of Islamic theological philosophy (aqidah) to understand the root causes and possible solutions. This study employs a qualitative library-based approach, drawing from literature on aqidah philosophy, existential psychology, gender studies, and recent Indonesian research on family dynamics and domestic violence. The findings and discussion of this study indicate that existential crises emerge as psychological consequences of unjust gender relations, while Aqidah emphasizes human dignity, spiritual equality, and the prohibition of all forms of domination that violate the principles of tawhid. Gender-imbalanced relations reinforce patterns of violence, dependency, and spiritual disconnection, obstructing the realization of a harmonious and compassionate family life. The conclusion of this study asserts that violence and gender injustice have no theological legitimacy and fundamentally contradict the principles of tawhid and karamah insaniyyah. Therefore, addressing domestic violence requires an integrated spiritual, psychological, and structural approach. This study recommends strengthening equality-based religious literacy, enhancing gender-sensitive and aqidah-rooted family counseling services, and expanding empirical field research to develop more practical intervention models for preventing domestic violence in Indonesia.
