Dasein: Ada-Di-Dalam-Dunia Merekonstruksi “Eksistensi” dalam Being and Time Divisi I
Keywords:
Dasein, existence, fallenness, thrownnessAbstract
This article critically re-examines Martin Heidegger's concept of Dasein, particularly in relation to existential structures such as thrownness, fallenness, and understanding. In a modern world increasingly trapped in automated and superficial living, Heidegger’s thought offers a profound perspective on human existence, an aspect often neglected. This article highlights how fallenness (Verfallen) is not merely an existential decline, but rather a moment of disclosure in which Dasein becomes aware of itself and its world. The uniqueness of this article lies in its emphasis on the inseparability and interrelation of existential structures, facticity, fallenness, and projection into the future, that always constitute Dasein. This approach opens a new space for understanding existence not as something static, but as the dynamic, total involvement of the human being in the world. By framing Dasein as “the one who cares,” this article aims to reaffirm the urgency of an existential reading in a contemporary context that often obscures the meaning of authenticity. The understanding of Dasein that Heidegger offers makes a significant contribution to existential philosophy while also serving as a critical reflection on how human beings live out their lives today.
