Ekoteologi di Tengah Krisis Global: Mencari Harapan dalam Keimanan dan Alam

Abstract

Krisis lingkungan global menjadi ancaman serius bagi keseimbangan ekosistem dan kelangsungan hidup manusia, Tulisan ini menelaah peran ekoteologi sebagai pendekatan interdisipliner, menghubungkan ajaran teologis dengan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Dengan metode analisis kualitatif terhadap literatur teologis, inisiatif lingkungan berbasis agama, serta studi kasus kolaborasi antaragama, artikel ini mengungkap kontribusi komunitas keagamaan dalam mendorong keberlanjutan lingkungan. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa ekoteologi dapat menjadi landasan moral dalam pengelolaan lingkungan, dengan menekankan perlunya pergeseran dari pendekatan antroposentris menuju perspektif ekologi yang lebih inklusif. Berbagai ajaran agama dan kepercayaan tradisional mengajarkan pentingnya keseimbangan ekosistem dan tanggung jawab manusia dalam menjaga kelestarian alam. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan dalam penerapan, ekoteologi berperan dalam mendorong gerakan sosial berbasis komunitas, mempengaruhi kebijakan lingkungan, dan memperkuat kesadaran ekologis. Studi ini menegaskan perlunya sinergi antara nilai-nilai keagamaan, ilmu pengetahuan, dan kebijakan lingkungan guna menciptakan masa depan yang lebih berkelanjutan.
